This post may be of interest to rider in BC, Canada. Here in BC, it's always been necessary to phone or travel to an Autoplan broker to get insurance estimates, since ICBC does not provide any kind of price estimator service.I feel we ought to have once, so I've published it here: https://lateworm.github.io/icbs/In my tests, this tool has been accurate to within one dollar. So far, I've only been able to test this using my own ICBC receipts, which isn't very thorough. If any fellow BC riders have a minute, I'd really appreciate it if you'd have a go, and let me know if the results are accurate to your own bills. If results seem inaccurate, keep in mind that the tool assumes $200k third-party liability, which may differ from your bill. I hope to improve this, but as yet I have insufficient data. If you'd like to help me improve the accuracy of the tool, please include as much detail from your receipt as possible so I can try to spot the source of error. Also, if you have any questions about motorcycle insurance in BC, feel free to ask. I may know the answer, and you'll help me understand what sort of data people might find useful for e to add to my estimator tool. Thanks everybody! via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/a7vho6/get_icbc_motorcycle_insurance_estimates_online/?utm_source=ifttt
