Anyone use a tech air vest?

I have the tech air compatible suit and not the airbag vest (yet). My question is, when the airbag goes off, does the vest have adequate space for it to inflate and not stretch the leathers?I'm wearing a snug suit already and didn't want the vest to ruin the leathers if it makes sense.
