Hi guys and girls, long time reader, first time poster with some general questions.I’ve been riding for about 2 years and had my full motorcycle license for 2-3 months now.I bought a custom/modded 1993 cbr600 cafe racer for dirt cheap but London is now introducing a motorcycle congestion tax in April (£12.50 a day) on bikes pre 2007. (And one of the pervious owners didn’t take care of it properly but I got it up and running with a few issues - generally she’s ok, but ive had it be unreliable)I’ve always wanted a Harley. It’s my dream bike, love the looks and sounds and I’ve found a 2016 iron 883, with stage 1 upgrade and Vance and Hines, sissy bar and some other extras with only 1.5k miles. Seeing it tomorrow and hopefully riding it away. (£6500)Would anyone be able to tell me (as it’s my first big non dealer purchase) if there’s anything I should look out for ?Also what type of differences should I notice upgrading from a 25 year old bike? The only person I’ve spoken to about it is my local mechanic as she rides a iron 883 and she simply said it’s gonna be like night and day and they’re a lot of fun and reliable etc.I know the bike is belt driven (that’s a good thing as far as I’m aware?), no carb issues to worry about ? No choke and all that jazz. Anything else?Thank you for any help. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/aa97xe/about_to_go_from_a_93_cbr600_to_a_16_iron_883/?utm_source=ifttt
