Just received this via email re my claim for compensation:
Unfortunately the insurance company have only compensated for the ticket prices we have refunded so we are unable to compensate for any additional costs such as travel and accommodation.
I’m guessing there’s not a lot more we can do (although I’m happy to be proven wrong) but this seals my decision to never visit Silverstone again, for any event.
I truly hope they lose the race. They don’t deserve it.
