My girlfriend bought me a trackbike for my birthday...

In absolute awe of this lass. Back story is I have been riding for about a year and a half now. I am trying to get away from street riding. Watched too many people get injured or killed in the past year and a half. While I still sometimes commute 5 miles to work on my bike, I have stopped doing as many group rides and riding on the street with people I dont know and trust.I have been doing some track days with my 2016 CBR500R but the bike is a bit lacking for the track. Its a great commuter but its too heavy for a track bike compared to the power (the bike is over 400lbs wet with power about the same of a 300 or new 400's). The pegs scrape too early and the suspension is far too soft. I've learned sooo much on the bike and would certainly recommend learning track or street on a small cc bike. However, the bike is starting to show some of its limitations for the track.I have been casually looking around for bikes, as one does. Mostly just perusing facebook groups, marketplace and craiglists for anything cheap and functional in the 600 range. My girlfriend constantly kept telling me to save my money and I've got other things I need to save for. Which is totally true and so havent been able to purchase one yet. I found one that one of my friends was selling for under $2000 and was very close to pulling the trigger, but ultimately she talked me down from the ledge. A few hours later after being posted for sale, the bike is sold. While a little bummed I recognize that shes right and I needed to save my money for some big upcoming expenses.A couple months later, is November and its my birthday. We're going over to one of my friends' house for dinner for my birthday. Just me and my girlfriend and another couple. Eat dinner, have some cake and then she wants me to open presents. She hands me a birthday card and I open it up and read it. Thers another smaller envelope inside the envelope. Envelope inception and I'm first thinking, oh god...its the russian dolls of envelopes. I open up the second envelope and just see a folded up piece of paper with a shit ton of fine print. I start unfolding it and see its a Virginia state vehicle title. Wtf? Im confused at this point. I've never lived there. Why would there be a title? Then I look down and it shows the make as Kawasaki. Im shook. What. The. Fuck. This cant be real. This is some youtube stunt type shit. This doesnt happen to normal people.I look over at her and she says "remember when [your friend] sold that bike to some squid? I was that squid...go check the garage."She had bought it, had it delivered to my friend's house and it was sitting there for weeks. She had just gotten a new job and decided that the extra paycheck she had from switching to the new job should go towards buying me a track bike. She wanted to help encourage me to do more track riding and less street riding. The bike: The bike is a 2003 Kawasaki ZX6R/636. My friend was building it to be a stunt bike, but while building it found a good deal on a grom and went for that. It needs upper and lower fairings, new tires, chains and sprocket kit and the radiator fan hooked up, but came with carbon fiber tail section and front fender, extra set of I believe 2007 or 8 front forks and wheels. Picture for the interested.Im still shocked and have no clue how to thank her. This is absolutely the nicest thing thats ever been done for me. She isnt even a huge fan of me riding, but know how much riding means to me and how passionate I am about it. She knows my reddit username, so in case you stumble into the motorcycle subreddit for some strange reason, thank you so much...I don't know if youll ever understand how much it meant to me. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/9yi7tu/my_girlfriend_bought_me_a_trackbike_for_my/?utm_source=ifttt
