http://imgur.com/gallery/A0FMYTwYesterday I experienced a tank slapper so bad it caused me to fly off the bike into the asphalt going around 65mph (freeway on ramp). The bike kept going and hit a tree. Paramedics on scene took me to a hospital to X-Ray quite a few bones, and didn't find any breaks. I hurt pretty bad, but I'm okay. If not for my gear (The helmet mostly), I could have died yesterday, or at the very least gotten MUCH more fucked up than I did. I'm pretty embarrassed about all this, so the reason I'm posting is for awareness.
