I zipped over to the gas station on my 90s CBR today to grab a cold beverage and while I was checking out I heard behind me, through my helmet, "mumble mumble little small?"I turned around to see the most enormous man. He was older, had a flat-top like a cliche police sergeant/PE coach and must have weighed 350 lbs. "Isn't that 600 a little small?" He repeated. It took me a second to process. Does anyone really consider a 600 supersport to be small? Well, my answer was standing right in front of me. I'm 5'11 and 170 lbs. This guy was a foot bigger than me in every direction.Me: You know what? It is a little small. I have a 900 back at home, though.Him: Aha. This is just your 'around town' bike, then. Heh heh.Me: That's right. He followed me outside. I knew exactly what the next four or five words out of his mouth were going to be.Him: I used to have an American bike. Eighty inch motor with a ten and a half compression ratio.Me: Holy shit.Him: It didn't have any suspension, so I only ran fourteen pounds of pressure in the tires. It would only go in a straight line above first gear.Me: Now that sounds like a lot of fun. fist bump to end conversationHim: It sure was, brother. Nice toy. Ride safe.Fucking awesome cartoon of a man. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/9rdn2z/i_didnt_think_people_like_this_existed_in/?utm_source=ifttt
