First of all, I love this sub. I've been subbed probably for more than 2 years since I discovered it.But there's something I don't really get... all the hate everytime something is posted and the person is not 100% geared. Why? Why do you need to hate with such intensity someone else's decision? Is it wise? It sure is not. But are they hurting someone? No. Are they putting someone in danger? No. (Only themselves, but that's on them..)You won't see me wear gear during those days where temps reach 40-47°C (104-116F). I know it will hurt to fall, but will hurt me, not you. I know I'll be scarred for life, you don't need to tell me. Do I deserve to get my skin ripped off now? Do I deserve to die? When someone posts a picture on the beach and you notice they have no sunscreen on, do you tell them how much they deserve a sunburn and how they're the scum of the earth? Do you remember them how everybody who's not covered in sunscreen on that beach should get skin cancer? Because that's exactly the same thing. Can't we all love each other? Road squids, pool squids, sand squids, literal squids... there's love for everybody.Just live and let live.excusetherant EDIT: I feel like I should clarify that I did not came here to say bikers should not wear gear. I even said that's not a wise decision. My point is how easy some people wish suffering upon others simply by not wearing gear. It's ok to say "you really shouldn't do that because obvious reasons", it's not ok to say "you really should get your skin ripped because that's what you're asking for". via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/9m46k1/how_much_hate_is_too_much_hate_gear_stuff/?utm_source=ifttt
