How do I get into actual motorcycle racing?

The title says it all really. I am a young guy in college still and really love going to the local track when I can get the money. I've been 4 times and I absolutely love it, it's my passion and I want to move up and get serious about racing. What would my first steps be into becoming a competitive racer? I want to join a race league like fmraa or wera but don't know the steps to take honestly. I have one bike which is a Ninja 300 and I have tons to learn still so I am 100% not ready yet but I'm 23 now and my goal was before 30 I want to start racing. This give me ample time to save money, practice to get to a race pace, get new bikes, and become more knowledgeable. I want to know on average how much it'll cost and how you guys afford it because that's my main issue right now. Do people get sponsored? If so, how do I go about that? What should I be doing now to get improve myself? Thanks for the tips in advance. via /r/Trackdays https://www.reddit.com/r/Trackdays/comments/9n3ti3/how_do_i_get_into_actual_motorcycle_racing/?utm_source=ifttt
