Can 2015+ R1 traction control handle an idiot going over curbing? or not?

Last August at the Ridge, 2nd or 3rd track day on R1, feeling confident but tired from riding 2 track days in a row, but finally feeling like I am building some kind of rapport with the bike. Cut the corner little too tight in to T12, trajectory is now over the curbing...
