The career that almost was...Romano Fenati.
I know that there is a lot of anger and resentment towards Romano Fenati right now, and rightly so. I don't expect any of you to agree. This is a personal opinion but I still wanted to share.Romano Fenati's career is almost certainly over, since no one will want to hire him post this episode. MV Agusta was probably his last chance of coming through to MotoGP. But now it's all gone.Romano Fegati has clearly shot himself in the foot. But who's losing because of this?I believe we all are. Romano Fenati, the rider, was unstoppable on his day and I for one thoroughly enjoyed watching his exploits in Moto3. For all his bad behaviour, he was an out and out racer who gave no quarter.I've been hoping to see him slowly climb up the Moto2 ladder and have been quietly cheering him on. Sadly, post this episode I don't think I can do that, nor do I think there will be an opportunity to do so. And I'm sad for it. I genuinely like the racer, the guy won some spectacular races... Ah, what could've been.
