Planning a 125cc roadtrip in Latin America. Totaly unsure how/where to buy the bike. Any ressources ?

Hey guys,I'm currently planning my roadtrip in Latin America but I first need to know where I'm gonna buy a bike. I really struggle to find sources concerning the purchase of the bike, many links being spread out on numerous website and most of them are more than 5 years old.I am planning to travel to Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay/Argentina, Chile and eventually Colombia (unsure about that one because of what's happening there right now, I could be wrong). Here are my questions :Should I buy the bike "new" or "used" ? Considering that if I buy it new I will have to wait a month before having the plates and being allowed to drive it. What are the drawbacks of buying it "used" ? Considering I have 0 experience with mechanics, even though I intend to learn and know I'll have to get used to it, I think a new bike would probably be a safer bet, duration/mechanics-wise, what do you think ?In which country should I buy the bike ?Here's what I read online concerning each country :Bolivia => https://advrider.com/f/threads/how-to-buy-a-dual-sport-in-bolivia-its-easy.896123/Bolivia, according to this post, seems like a good country to get a new bike since it appears I can travel inside the bolivian borders without the plate and then pick it up later. However, this thread is old, how accurate is it ?Argentina => From what I read everywhere, Argentina is a no-go since you can't quit the borders with a bike you just bought as a foreigner.Peru => https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g294311-i818-k11607328-Short_Guide_to_Buying_a_Motorcycle_in_Peru-Peru.htmlSeems doable but it doesn't seem possible to ride the bike without the plate, which makes it really time-consuming.Chile => I've yet to gather informations about it.Uruguay => I've yet to gather informations about it.I'm really struggling to find up-to-date and 100% sure informations about the legislation of these countries. Could you give help me, give me some good ressources ? That'd be amazing for me right now.Best regards via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/9g9cmr/planning_a_125cc_roadtrip_in_latin_america_totaly/?utm_source=ifttt
