I just finished riding my first 100 miles on my very first motorcycle. I know, it's probably not much to be excited about, but it felt like a hell of an accomplishment to me. I made it home safe and had an absolute blast.I took the MSF BRC a few weeks ago and then bought a 2011 Victory Vegas 8-ball. Probably way too much motorcycle to start on, but I was swayed by the "you are gonna be bored in 12 months on a smaller bike" sales pitch. I am riding it nice and slow to start. I have also learned a lot about myself in these first few miles. Mostly learned that I will always be learning new stuff, and that I don't know nearly enough yet.I bought a decent helmet (Arai Vector 2), some good gloves and a riding jacket. I need to get some boots and pants though. This whole process has been the funniest and scariest adventure of my entire life. I am kind of a regular boring guy. Either way, it all felt so damn good. Had to tell somebody and figured you all would understand. Here is to safe rides for the next 100 miles and beyond. Ride safe and have fun everyone 😊 via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/9gp46j/my_first_100_miles_complete/?utm_source=ifttt
