At 9am on Monday I was cruising along on a 35mph road that is covered by neighborhoods on the left and right. I was about 100ft or so behind a Ford pickup. 125ft ahead or so on my left I noticed a driver slowly exiting from the neighborhood. Like he was just coasting straight. So much so that he was a bumper into the opposite lane from the Ford when he passed. Before I knew it this guy accelerated and was perpendicular into my lane!! I slammed on my brakes, so much so I fishtailed the rear. The guy slowly moved out of my way. I looked inside and he looked pissed at me! Wtf! I just drove off because I wasn't sure if he was high or crazy on something and I'm just on a motorcycle.Still pisses me off. Dude could have killed me and he's pissed at me!Edit: I suck at measuring distances. I was far away from the truck. I'm not sure how far ft wise, but I'm guessing 100ft. It was a lot more than the 2-second rule. Like I was about 8-seconds away. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/9gvga0/had_a_super_close_call_yesterday_worst_part_is/?utm_source=ifttt
