On Magneti Marelli and Yamaha

Pre-2016 Andrea Dovizioso had only ONE GP win.Pre-2016 we never had NINE riders winning GPs in a single season.Yes, pre-2016 we never had MotoGP this much close and competitive. [Oh, but we had in 2015 and some other seasons in the last decade.]Have you ever been in your car and all of a sudden your engine won't start. There's a problem with the electronics, someone has to come and fix it so that you can use your car again. In 2016 Ducati and Honda recruit engineers from Magneti Marelli, which "currently deals with intelligent systems for active and passive vehicle safety as well as powertrain systems." When it comes to Motorcycle Racing, Magneti Marelli had been working with Ducati for years pre-2016. They were developing electronics for Ducati's V4 engine with its different power delivery system.I do not believe Yamaha can get as much from the ECU as Ducati and Honda can? No, they simply cannot. It has nothing to do with Yamaha not employing engineers from Magneti Marelli. Because even the engineers from Magneti Marelli have worked with a different kind of engine and power delivery system. When rules change and regulations swing, there will always be someone who will suffer the most. It is usually the weakest in terms of resources and power/influence. Honestly, Yamaha sucks compared to Honda and Ducati when it comes to resources and influence over Dorna.M1 is the simplest bike which used to work for years with their own engineering. But now, in this new era, they need this big change. I don't think Yamaha's suffering for one and half or two years is something bad. They simply need to learn and re-structure.
