Who still uses their brights, and can you please stop?

Just hear me out. I've been riding street since '94. I took the MSF course and read all the cycle worlds and motorcyclists I could get my teen fingers on. I was brought up that you should run hour high beams during he day for visibility, and I did. Fast forward to today and the advent of modern head lights like xenon headlights and now it's blinding.
