I(19) got in a bit of a nasty accident in December, and all throughout my recovery the only "empathy" I got from medical staff & strangers was along the lines of "Well, you sure learned your lesson. I bet you won't get on one of those things again! It could've been much worse."Yeah, I learned my lesson. Don't tell people that I got hit by a car.(BG info, ~15mph intersection collision, young woman[22] made a left across me. Her fault, no doubt about it. Broken elbow, lost my two front teeth & had a cut on my lip almost all the way through.
