Swapping stock fuel tank (4.7 gal) for a smaller one (2.5 gal). Concerned about looks and efficiency?

Hi all, I'm considering swapping the stock fuel tank from my 95 CB750 out for a smaller, more aesthetically pleasing tank. The tanks I'm considering (cause they are within my budget) are much smaller - about 2.5 Gal (10 L). This seems like a big drop in size and I worried about the gas tank looking proportional to the rest of the bike. Does anyone have any experience with this? Additionally, what is your opinion on running with such a small tank? via /r/CafeRacers https://www.reddit.com/r/CafeRacers/comments/8igpkl/swapping_stock_fuel_tank_47_gal_for_a_smaller_one/?utm_source=ifttt
