Need to Replace Stator - Help

2010 Yamaha R1. Is it as simple as:Drain OilRemove Stator Cover and gasketRemove magnetized Rotor that covers the statorUnplug and Remove old statorPlug in and install new statorPut back the magnetic rotorPut back the gasket and stator coverRefill oilI have found so many 'how to' videos on youtube but none specific to my bike. Just want to make sure I am not leaving any steps out especially when it comes to electronics. Seems pretty straight forward. Please let me know!
