10 Races at Phillip Island

Screw it, this year is going to be a write off and the riders are all in lock down anyway - let's do the season as 10 races at Phillip Island over the next 3 months.

We can quarantine the whole Island, fly the bikes and teams into Avalon and truck them straight down to Mornington and across the ferry to avoid Melbourne. Close the bridge from San Remo and drop supplies off at the wharf in Cowes. People who own holiday houses aren't supposed to be using them anyway so the place is mostly going to be deserted. Do it as a TV only race. Ticket numbers have been down in recent years anyway so it's not like the riders will miss the atmosphere of the fans, just throw some old Chris Vermulen bucket hats on hay bales wrapped in blankets over Lukey Heights and boom - just like old times!

You know it makes sense, it produces great racing every year and it's the easiest place to quarantine.
