I grew up around racing as a kid, from NASCAR to F1 to rally racing, if it had wheels and a big motor and used to race other people who were in things with wheels and a big motor, my dad and I were into it.
That is of course, everything except motoGP. I’ve watched the 24 hours of Le Mans more than I have watched moto races. I don’t know why.
Anyways, I need a place to start but know literally nothing about the sport aside from the tracks they race on. Am I able to get a very brief run down on the sport?
How are teams set up? Two drivers per team? Are there teams actually based in America? How is practice/qualifying/racing set up for each weekend? How do I watch it without cable? I would assume rules are pretty much universal for international driving? How long are seasons, how do you win a championship? Who are the constructors of the bikes? What do they do for pit stops?
Sorry for the long post, however I know literally nothing about the sport and would love to get into it and enjoy it with you all!
