Why are there no more flat plane crank I4’s in motogp? Everyone is either v4 or CrossPlane I4

I’m sure someone knows why on an engineering level. Is it to do with torque delivery making the bike smoother on out of corner transitions? Is it because of peakier power bands? Are there rev limits because of harmonic vibration, therefore power limits because of this?
