I think Marquez might win every race he finishes in 2020

Marc has obviously been dominant this season unlike ever before. HRC bends further and further to his will (at the expense of everyone else with an HRC contract). And after PI, it seems to me like he is toying with the competition.

I was looking at top speeds during the PI race- Mav was consistently between 330-333km/h; Marc was anywhere from 316km/h to the 342km/h the Honda is truly capable of. And he had no problem keeping up with Mav despite rolling off so blatantly. To boot he wasn't even in Mav's draft, which would indicate a fuel save- he was rolling off while riding along side him, which to me seems like a taunt more than a "studying of his weaknesses".

Oddly, Marc was the recipient of such taunts earlier this year (or at least claimed to be, which I think Dovi confirmed):

which I think is where he got the idea.

You look across the field, his "biggest threat" has yet to beat him in a race. Initially I thought FQ just needed to work on his race craft, but now I'm thinking Marquez has just been toying with him all along, possibly using him as a proxy to demoralize the rest of the grid.

So we have gone from Marquez being guaranteed the chip to Marquez possibly being guaranteed a win. I think 2020 might be the year, which could possibly make 2021 silly season that much more interesting. What do you do after not only winning 5 championships back to back, but also winning every race you finish in a season? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a surprise move to KTM to carve his GOAT status into the MotoGP Mount Rushmore.
