First bike, going for a cafe build

Hello folks. I recently picked up a Yamaha Maxim 650, and I’d like to convert it to a cafe racer (or maybe brat style). I’ve already started breaking it down and cleaning it, and I’m looking for handlebars and a seat to move forward on the main part of the build. I know it’s not super traditional with cafe builds, but I’d like to have a longer seat so I can occasionally take my wife on short rides with me. Anyone have a recommendation for a longer seat that won’t break the bank? Also, I welcome any advice you may have on the build process.
