Wanting to build a cafe racer out of a Honda CB750

First post, just looking for some advice. A little background first though, I'm currently looking at using a Honda C750 for around $600-700 dollars. The guy doesn't know if it currently runs, so I might be able to drop the price a little more. Money is a little tight, as I'm going off to college and would like to save something at least. That being said, this would be a summer project, with around two months to build it and then ride it down to my uni. Here's what I'm thinking: nothing too much, as I'm aware I am facing a time restraint (Find picture attached for the bike).New rear shocks, (found these https://cognitomoto.com/collections/suspension/products/vintage-japanese-rear-shock-set-12-8-325mm)Tearing off all the unnecessary plastic and whatnot.Replacing the exhaust with a custom exhaust that gives it a more 'industrial look'. (I have a picture of a bike with it but I'm not sure how to upload more than one picture).I'd like to keep the front suspension and the rims the same, as I found another Redditor that did a cafe racer and I like the look of the original. I'd repaint the rims to match the colour scheme though.Clip on handle bars (Not sure what brands works though)I'm not sure if I would need to replace the clutch and brake levers on the handles either (would you recommend it?)I plan on chopping the entire triangle part of the back off, and welding a new sleeker subframe on. (Thoughts?)(Also welding won't be a problem). I'd also like to integrate the brake and turn signals into the back tube section.New headlight. And then for the seat... I'm not really sure what I should do. I really like having the short single seat that has a little bump at the end, however I will need to occasionally transport another person on the bike. I personally don't really like the look of just a long seat, so if anyone has any other suggestions seat wise, it would be greatly appreciated.Fuel tank...? I think the stock one is fine for the time being, might just sand blast it and then have it professionally painted in a difference colour.Extra pegs? For the second person...?Another area I'm not quite sure about is where to hide the battery and the electrical wiring. I'm thinking underneath the seat, but I'm not quite sure how much would be visible, and I'd prefer if they weren't (very) noticeable. For the paint scheme, (don't know how to go about this either, fair warning) I'm thinking a predominantly matte grey (in the middle of light and dark grey). With blue accents. I'm thinking to have the frame powder coated baby blue, and having a little decor on the tank in baby blue. Everything else (the majority of the fuel tank, the engine, rims, etc) would be painted in the matte grey.I realise there are a lot cafe racer builds, but I can't seem to find anyone that has extensively covered the build process. I'm also very new to motorcycles (I've rebuild plenty of cars, but motorcycles none), and the entire cafe racer Honda CB750 scene. If anyone could point me in the directions of parts, give some general knowledge, or explain some common problems and what to do about them, it would be greatly appreciated.Cheers! via /r/CafeRacers https://www.reddit.com/r/CafeRacers/comments/c1jpye/wanting_to_build_a_cafe_racer_out_of_a_honda_cb750/?utm_source=ifttt
