Petition to Dorna to stop showing things other than racing during the race

Does anyone else get really annoyed when during the race they decide to show us things like pit boards, the teams or the crowd?

For example, in the Mugello race they cut to pit boards saying "Dovi and Marquez right behind you" as the riders were starting to make moves from the slipstream. Like, why would we be interested in seeing that at that time? What benefit do we get from something that is blindingly obvious and something that even the riders probably ignore most of the race (obviously not all of it). I also personally don't say "Oh good I was wondering what the Ducati team was doing whilst Dovi makes a move for the lead." Most of the time they're just watching the racing, Dorna, like we were doing. Showing the crowd is equally infuriating. I also personally don't care about seeing ultra slow-mo replays of basically nothing while the race is going, or replays of the start one lap in, but I could be alone on that one so I won't put attention on that.

I understand that they want to show that there's more to MotoGP than just the riders and the racing, however I think they do a good enough job outside of the race so they don't need to do it when all we want to see is the incredible racing. Dorna have done a superb job at tweaking the regulations to make closer racing and I wouldn't argue against anything that they've done, I just wish that their television coverage showed it off better.

So what do we do about it? I've long considered sending an email to whoever I can to let them know my thoughts, but they won't pay attention to that. Should we start a petition? They're pretty pointless and rarely achieve anything but it might get more attention so perhaps it's worth a try.

I've created one and you can sign it here - http://chng.it/QDdyySrg9V

Let me know your thoughts and whether you feel the same way or would like me to add anything to the petition :)
