
https://imgur.com/a/IzBMTCPHere are some pics of the progress so far, I've got a general idea of where I'd like to end up; had to do a mockup for a class I'm in that I don't give a shit about, so disregard the quality. That said, I do plan on going with a Blue/white/black color scheme that's true to the Suzuki brand once the winter rolls around and I'm no longer riding the bike. The rear cowling is positioned in an effort to visualize where the tail section will end, and should look somewhat similar once complete (minus the side reflectors). The bike already has a Vance and Hines exhaust on it thought I will likely put the baffle wrap back in and rig up an electronic dump valve for shits and giggles for when I'm out and about in my city on weekends. There are a lot of goodies being planned for this bike, some of which include: Keyless (proximity based) push button start, electronic dump valve (as already stated), super light lithium ion battery to be hidden under the rear cowling once that's fabbed up, new ignition system that removes the need for the currently existing CDI (simplifying the overall wiring of the bike), bar end signals, classic styled mirrors (have bar-ends currently if anyone is interested in buying them for around $5 and pay for shipping I'll happily send them off), exhaust stud conversion from carrier bolts, and converting all reasonable bolts to button cap metric hex so that all that needs to be carried in an under-seat tool kit will be a set of metric hex keys.What have you guys been working on lately?(I have already lowered the headlights and am aware of how goofy they look that high up.) via /r/CafeRacers https://www.reddit.com/r/CafeRacers/comments/bqntu2/gs1100g_project_update_51919/?utm_source=ifttt
