What is up with this engine?

I was on the market for a used motorcycle and found this dude trying to sell his moto guzzi v35c for cheap.He sent me this video (to be sure it is worth the trip to go there and see it); the engine doesnt sound healthy at all, i asked a friend that knows about motorcycle and told me it is one spark not being coordinated with the other one ( he used a specific name for it but i really dont know how to translate it in english).
