We're seeing Ducati/Honda argue about what is or isn't legal, after round 1.
I'm worried about the use of wings on bikes. There are arguments about what is legal or not, we saw multiple wings break off on the opening few corners because they are fragile. Punctures really suck on cars, but it'll be much worse if some carbon cuts a tyre on a bike. Most of all - they are expensive. Budgets are going to rise with the increase in CFD/windtunnel work, with the cost of fairings going through the roof.
As soon as I saw them on bikes I groaned, as we'll see more parallels compared to F1 and the problems they are trying to solve with the 2021 rules. How long until "dirty air" becomes a thing in MotoGP and riders can't follow closely?
Wings are certainly unique, and it adds a different performance factor to the bikes. Some people think they look really cool as well. But I think the championship will be better off without them.
