First Build - 1980 Yam XS400 2A2

Hi allMy first build is to moderately alter a 1980 Yam XS400. The donor bike was cheap and the sunk costs would be not too high.As I am a total beginner, for the difficult parts (painting, coating, cutting, welding etc.) I am getting professional help. But I want to do as much as possible myself. Design is inspired by my childhood hero, Johnny Cecotto and his legendary Yam YZR750 OW31.I want to finish the project in May 2019.
