So I’ve got the cylinder head off, and I’ve put some Permatex gasket remover on. I haven’t yet removed the cylinder, exposing the pistons. So my question is, do I have to go as far as removing the cylinder? Is the bottom gasket now compromised because of the lack of pressure on it?
