Hi guys, I'm fairly new to carburetors so I thought I would post my problem here.What is the problem? My GN250 (1 carb) only fires up with my hand covering the pilot air jet or with starter fluid. What did I change to the bike? New unrestricted muffler & replaced the stock air box with a new K&N universal filter. What did I do to the carb? I bought a rebuild kit, so new gasket/main jet/pilot jet/throttle needle/pilot screw.I know it is running lean, because I can get it to start with less air (blocking the pilot air jet) but I do not know how to fix it.I already tried turning my pilot screw a few more turns out, but that doesn't seem to work. The choke also makes no difference. Do I need to buy new jets?
