I know... bold move using a "cruiser" as a first cafe racer build, but here is where I am at with the project. Next steps are raising the seat and tank by welding in new tubing at the height of the rear shocks and removing the existing tubing where the factory seat was (sorry if this explanation sucks). Then pulling the motor to paint the frame. While the motor is out I would like to clean the outside to make it look like new. Does anyone have any recommended methods for doing that? The thing sat out for a long time and looks quite worn out despite its low miles.I also am still searching for a seat that can accommodate the width of this tank. Seat recommendations are appreciated as well.https://i.redd.it/jc2o7lejyso11.jpg via /r/CafeRacers https://www.reddit.com/r/CafeRacers/comments/9je0a9/83_kz550_ltd/?utm_source=ifttt
