Plan to rewire bike. Anything that makes it as easy as the m.unit?

So the old wiring harness has disconnected wires and shorts everywhere. So I plan to clean it up and fix all the problems by completely rewiring it. As I’ve been looking into it the m.unit by Motogadget seems like the absolute best option but I’m trying my best to stick to a budget on my build.
