New To MotoGP , Have A Few Questions

So first off, I am a huge Formula 1 fan ( Haas ) and I’ve always had Moto gp recommended to me and I’m going to give it a shot. I have a few questions first though because I know nothing about moto gp.Are there any teams with American ties ? I know there are no American drivers currently, but do any teams have any strong links with America , or maybe some teams with American drivers coming up through development ?If there are no teams with American ties, which team has the strongest ties with Italy ? I would think Ducati but which team is most popular with Italians .In formula 1 some of the bigger teams have affiliated teams that also compete in F1. So for example ; Haas and Sauber are affiliates of Ferrari , Toro Rosso is an affiliate of Red Bull, Etc... Which teams in Moto Gp are affiliates of factory teams ?Who are the biggest and most popular teams in MotoGP ?I watch a fair bit of 4 wheeled Motorsport; what are the main things that I should know about MotoGP that I wouldn’t know already from watching 4 wheeled racing series ?Are there any articles or videos or anything that I should check out to catch up on the basics of MotoGP ?Thanks in advance!
