Customer service issues with camshaft company.

My friend ordered a set of street cams for their v-twin project. Sent in cores and got back a pair of reground as advertised. Something weird happened during install. The exhaust valve wouldn't retract in time for the front piston to reach tdc. The rear cylinder worked fine. Both were installed to factory timing with the additional tappet clearance as specified for the cam. Dealing with the customer service agent at has been a series of second guesses, put downs, and expected refusual that their work may be flawed. They sent a return label, but now that they have the cams, they don't want to inspect them because they weren't provided blueprint numbers from the install. What can my friend do at this point?Tl;dr Reground cams not working. Company refuses to investigate, insults bike owner instead.
