Yamaha XV700 Cafe Racer Project

Hi Guys,Quick introduction, I`m Fox, a 19 years old dutch mechanical engineer student.A month ago I got a 1987 Yamaha Virago XV700 from my aunt because she couldn´t ride it anymore and it was just standing in a shed doing nothing.I have (together with my dad) started on building a cafe racer out of this bike. My starting point is a cafe racer build by Greg Hagemanhttps://i.redd.it/uqr44iqppub11.jpgThis is where I am standing now, the engine has already been removed for a cleaning job,I might want to paint the engine black. The paint from the tank is already removed.https://i.redd.it/1j0bw6krpub11.jpgWe put the bike back together to determine the sitting position for me. But since we assembled it again, I saw a thing that didn't fit the picture, the front wheel. The front wheel is to big in respect to the rear wheel. It is 19 inch but I would rather have a 17 inch wheel.Does anyone have experience or does sombody know if there is a wheel(17 inch but 16 or 15 is also a possibility) that would fit without swaping the front fork? Thanks in advance!Sorry for misspeling or grammar errors!PS the clip ons are on like this just for show, this isn't the final way. via /r/CafeRacers https://www.reddit.com/r/CafeRacers/comments/91feed/yamaha_xv700_cafe_racer_project/?utm_source=ifttt
