Honda letting Jack Miller go

I believe Ducati have scored themselves a future champion and Honda seemed to have let it happen without much resistance.I don't think i'm alone in saying that we, the viewer, can see from the videos shared and the races watched that there is defintely something special about this lad.Any thoughts on the lack of interest on Honda's part?
