GS750 questions!

So I’m about to pick up a gs750, at an insanely good price and I definitely plan on making it a cafe racer.That being said, this summer I’m going to be doin a ridiculous amount of highway driving that I’d like to put onto this bike instead of my car before I tear it down in the winter.Can a 750 handle the highway well? I’ve only owned vtwin engines in the past, and I’ll be doing 4 hours of highway riding about 3 days a week.Also, do these bikes like pod filters? I know some of the larger Honda CB series reallllly don’t like pods vs airbox.Any info would be greatly appreciated!
