Battery mounting locations?

I'm currently having a little trouble mounting my battery on my 1980 Honda CB750C. I had a battery mount under the tank, but that was when I was trying (unsuccessfully) to use pods. Needless to say, I switched back to the stock airbox and the bike runs great now. Only problem is, the battery wont fit there without raising the tank a noticeable amount into the air, which in turn raises my seat into the air and results in an all around awkward look. So I looked around and my only options are either on top of the swing arm or below the bike.
