What are your thoughts on CotA and the future of racing in the US?

In my opinion, CotA expounds on everyone’s strengths and weaknesses, which may seem good on paper, but in practice it spreads the field out (in all classes typically). So it makes for unexciting racing.I liked Indy for the history of the track, but the track has the same problem CotA has when it comes to bumps: lots of car racing on the infield makes for poor asphalt conditions.Laguna Seca produces absolutely stunning races, but there seems to be local politics preventing GP from going there. Still, it is a dearly missed track. The are other circuits in the US. Road America, Road Atlanta, VIR, and Barber to name a few, but I really only see Barber as a good course for GP.What are your opinions on CotA and the future of racing in the States?
