So I've been working on my home shop for the past year or so and haven't been producing too much motorcycle content. But lately I've had a little spare time on my hands and was able to make a few parts. The first thing in the link is a stem nut I made from acrylic and 316 stainless. It's a 1"-24 thread, hand polished. It's going to be used on a friend's Born Free show motorcycle. The second is a dual disc hub for myself. It's going to be used on an upcoming project. It will be laced to a 17" rim. It will use inverted ohlins tubes on 6.75" centers. The space between the forks is only 4.25"Keeping with the theme of narrow front ends, I designed and mid this hub for a custom front end for a friend of mine. He wanted the absolute skinniest setup we could muster so I am using a 2.5" x 23 ice racing slick with some one-off lower sliders and custom triple trees. There fork spacing from tube to tube is only 4.25" with only 2.75" between the trees. The spoke angle is going to be a little extreme, but this is just a cruiser and wont see much lateral loading. The inside of the hube is only 1.625" from flange to flange. We will probably cross drill the spoke holes to keep the angle withing reason. Both hubs are made from 6061.Here is the link to the parts: https://imgur.com/gallery/IBfxzkP(Here's a link to the shop pictures too, if you're interested: https://imgur.com/gallery/jHhmREg) via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/bs6279/some_motorcycle_parts_i_made_this_week_two_hubs/?utm_source=ifttt
